Hello Drummers,
I'd like to personally welcome you to TightScrew.com!
My name is Carl Scott. I'm a drummer and the creator of
TightScrew non-loosening tension rods.
The purpose of this website is to acquaint you with our
product and to provide some information on TightScrews.
In our FAQ section, we have answers to the most common
questions we've received from drummers, dealers, and
studio owners. TightScrews were created in 2004 as a
result of many years of struggling with loosening drums
on concert and club stages. Like many of you, I tried
every product that I could find to keep my snare drum
head tensioned song after song, show after show.
Unfortunately, everything I tried had drawbacks or was
ineffective. More wasted money! |

Finally, I came up with a solution that I thought would
make my drum tuning much more
effective. We distributed some prototypes to some of my
drummer friends, some jazz players, rock players, heavy
hitters, soft hitters -- well you get the picture.
Everyone loved the way their drums stayed in tune. We
finally had a solution to share with the drumming and
